FUTURE OF SUPERVOBIS .... ANSWERS WANTED

TROA is seeking input from members on what they believe should happen to the SuperVobis scheme.
The scheme is presently under review and owners have an opportunity to input into the development of a new model to operate for Tasmanian owners and breeders
At a recent meeting of the SuperVobis committee it was resolved that the present bonuses would remain in place for the remainder of this racing season.
There may be an additional bonus to be introduced as from January 1 2010. Details should be available by December 1 2009 if proceeded with.
Details of SuperVobis races are printed in the Racing Calendar which is available for purchase and which can also be found on Tasracing's website
In regard to the Scheme's future structure ie the continuing links to the Victorian SuperVobis scheme, or a TasVobis scheme or some other scheme, the Breeders Association and TROA have been asked to put forward a model (s) that can be considered by the Committee.
TROA would appreciate getting your views/suggested models that we could put forward.
Members can forward their thoughts to TROA treasurer Alan Davison on davotassie@gmail.com by December 15.

TROA GIVES OWNERS A VOICE

Racehorse owners are the single largest group in Australian racing, but they suffer from a certain lack of recognition from across the industry TROA is able to provide independent lobbying in representing and articulating owner's issues and their interests to the decision-making areas of the industry. We have achieved many successful outcomes that have contributed to improving ownership here in Tasmania. Amongst these is the starters incentive scheme that has considerably reduced owners race day costs.
